I bought this netbook for a one-trip months in Argentina in March. There were several reasons why I went with this netbook, but I must admit that I knew the brand that I wanted. The netbook didn't disappoint me.

I use it every day, even if I have two Dell desktops, HP and a 17 "-have notebook. I use it on deck (where I am now), in bed, the bar and on the road. I do not do more with Skype surf the Internet and view e-mail. However, I uploaded Word, Excel and Powerpoint, and I still have 75% free space on disk.

I took this netbook in part because it was advertised as having a backlit LED display and has been heralded as a "green" laptop. But after I bought it, I realized that this was anything but. I turned to discover that said the following. "Lamp contains mercury. Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal law." As we all know, the LED does not contain mercury, CCFL's do. So there you have it … written on the back of the Netbook - this laptop is CCFL backlight although advertised as the backlight LEDs. In addition, said the manual handling of pipe which are exposed to lead, a chemical know to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm … lovely. I tried to ask Toshiba's "technical support" on it and they were worthless .. could not even speak. Of course, I get it back soon.

I bought Samsung N110 near the same week it was released. I have considered a model of Dell or Asus. I doubt that Samsung has never been a mark on the labor market, phones, Samsung, but not quite in the market for netbooks.

After reading many reviews, I had the idea that the battery of the laptop was distinctive because of the quality of materials and appearance.

An amazing demonstration of Gordon Grigor og Director Mobile (software for Nvidia software engineering leadership in developing Tegra solution!) The way Nvidia accelerates web browsing, Flash, HD video decoding, HD video streaming from the Internet and much more. I was very impressed today, I had interviews with the Nvidia executives and engineers, they are a tremendous amount of confidence in its Tegra ARM implementation, even if the actual demonstrations of the technology, Tegra is not using the latest ARMCortex 4x faster processor, the ARM11 is for things like a browser, compared to that! Nvidia is the processing of many things from your browser with the GPU! Can you believe it? Rendering of the browser content, scrolling, font anti-aliasing, image rendering, Flash animations, Flash videos, are taken to ensure the NVIDIA GPU! Look for my videos of all that is now uploaded and movies over the next two or three days.

After some research, I chose this because of the netbook keyboard large, relatively long battery life, and the screen relatively large. It 'pretty easy, and with 1 GB of RAM pre-installed, the speed is good for web browsing. Cited by other online, touchpad is a bit 'difficult to use, the buttons are stiff, and the trackpad is on the callous. The main reason why I gave only 2 stars is my disappointment in the quality of netbooks and customer service. A few days later with the keyboard has stopped working. Look repeated indefinitely, after the keys are pressed, as if these keys are kept. Later, the keyboard has stopped responding. The unit was returned for repair, after much troubleshooting exchange of e-mail. The keyboard has been replaced, but the "new" keyboard has had similar problems. The device was returned a second time, and the keyboard has been replaced again. The remaining issues to be repaired netbook keyboard, even if they are quite rare.

First, the response of very recent Toshiba official reported problems trackpad, their forum:

"A problem in the manufacturing process of the NB205 Touch Pad Assembly has been identified and corrected. NB205 mini-laptop owners purchased in the United States often find that the movement of the cursor when using the built in touchpad stuttering is suggested to return the product to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement, or repaired under warranty.

Gateway LT2115u 10.1-Inch White Netbook - Over 10 Hours of Battery Life Review

My wife and I have been looking for a light netbook with a fashion design for a while, and finally located this one. We got her about three days ago and started to love her. The overall design is eye-catching. We can easily fit her in my wife’s bag. The battery can last at least 6-7 hours when we are doing word processing or browsing. If we are just reading a book, the battery icon says it can go more than 10 hours. Typing is comfortable, both with my large hands and my wife’s small hands. The screen is bright with large viewing angle. The CPU speed is ok. Sometimes we had to wait a couple of seconds after starting the browser before being able to type the address. This is not a big deal to us. I have uninstalled most of the blowware, and installed office 2003 and a bunch of softwares that we normally use. 160 GB hard disk is enough. 1 GB memory is good for our use case, mainly word processing and browsing internet.
