We bought this netbook before going on a trip to the UK. We wanted to be able to watch Amazon On Demand videos on the plane and on our train trips and also be able to check email, help plan our day to day itinerary and have a place to offload the days pictures from our cameras.
This netbook handled everything flawlessly — and it has an incredible battery life! On our trip back to the states, we watched videos on the 2 hour train trip between Cardiff and London and then watched video’s for the entire 6 1/2 hour flight back to the states and still had about 2 hours left on the estimate (the battery icon will tell you how long it thinks you have left on the charge). So, while you’re not going to get the full 14 hours watching videos, it’s still far better than most of the other netbooks out there.
The battery life was the main selling point for us, seconded by the video card. While a netbook will never be a replacement for my main PC, it is quite handy for travel and taking back and forth to work, and I could not ask for better than this one.
