After considerable research I purchased the Asus Eee PC 1000 netbook HE. I wanted a small laptop to use for the trip, take notes at meetings, e-mail and search network. Asus works only marginally. Asus is easy to travel thanks to its size and e-mail works great. However, the keyboard is too small for accurate observations. To make matters worse, I bought a set of Microsoft, which were loaded on a Netbook. Now, every time I open Word, I received a phone call that I had to buy Microsoft again. This note is my meeting with regard to the beginning of the session.

Works well. The design looks good. I put extra memory, change the original 1 gb for 2gb but I think Windows 7 is a little “heavy”.

All this is just a lack of RJ-11 in order. While traveling outside the country, I need RJ-11 connector instead of RJ-45 in some countries. Now I have a mini-modem for Internet usage buy.

Great car. Best bang for the buck. The size is perfect for the backpack / school bag. And the size of the keyboard - excellent, not too small. Bright screen. No problem, the battery life. Should come with Vista Home Premium, less bloat ware. The assessment is in fact 4.9

First of all, I love this netbook. It is built well, looks good and has the best keyboard of all that I saw .. Battery life is beautiful.
Now the problem. The touchpad is too sensitive. You must be very careful how you pull your finger on it, so you do not click too early. It 'definitely a design flaw because there are countless references to this issue online. Too bad that I would rate this machine as a second 5. I have a Toshiba laptop that is 5 years old built like a tank and still works well, so I bought this netbook less than others in their first. We hope that Toshiba will come up with a fix for this problem.

There are many in depth tech-savy reviews already posted for this little machine, so I will be to the point and brief.
It is worth every penny. It is fast, quiet, efficient, and the battery gives me an average of 6 to 7 hours before I have to plug in. This is perfect for me. You can get more like 9 or 10 hours if you are just doing some light web surfing and email type stuff. I use this netbook for web surfing (install Firefox on this netbook) and managing my itunes. Surprisingly it even handles my netflix movies with no problems! What a great little movie player it has turned out to be! AND…it even runs one of my favorite online games near perfectly. and it is a full 3D game called Wizards101. It finds and auto connects to any WIFI with no problems at all. I take this netbook to work and have it with me on my desk next to my work computer. Its so small and good looking and it gets me into some of the websites that I may not want work to know im browsing…like Amazon haha! So yeah…im pretty darn impressed with the capabilities of this netbook. I did upgrade the RAM to 2GB before I ever turned the netbook on so I couldnt tell you how it works on the standard 1GB. So for me it is a great netbook. it has totally replaced my big heavy laptop and with such a huge memory this liitle netbook can grow with me. And heck, its so inexpensive that I could just upgrade to a new one every year if I really wanted to haha Great for the internet. email. certain games, even 3D…although its not going to run a lot of them too well. for my game its just fine! great for managing your iTunes and updating your iPhone. Watch all your Netflix movies with no problems. Windows 7 is a breeze and user friendly. Store all your photos, music and videos on a seperate hard drive if you want because it come with 2 HUGE storage drives. Its light and the screen is not a glossy high reflective fingerprint magnet which is great! Anyway, I love this netbook, and Im so happy i found it! I will buy another one when they come out with one that just blows these specs away. until then, im a satisfied buyer.

Lightweight, nice looking, great battery life, impressive for travel. If the only problem I have with it is the mouse pad is a base not far away - as the arrow is not correct, at times, as it becomes flat. I tried to adjust the speed or low speed that I wanted to be, but this is not the problem. This is simply not true. I read in the comments of others. I could go on for more information on how to better address this minor problem. In general, I really like this netbook and I highly recommend it!

ordered online - invisible - my first netbook - after reading some favorable reviews. Besides its light weight (critical) was known for a decent keyboard - important for my large fingers - and a good set of speakers.

In fact, the speakers are not that great, but that is not so important. I love the color and the keyboard. The small size takes some 'getting used to - but I travel a lot - every way - including bicycles, B?sing, walk - and I can literally take this all just days notice. Which is really the best part.
